Dog Survives Being Picked Up by Tornado!

Duke, a 12-year-old Australian Shepard, was thrown about 1,000 feet when a tornado came through Davie County in North Carolina almost three weeks ago.  Duke was thrown across a road with a broken leg and damage to his eye.  He underwent multiple surgeries and survived.  It very rare that dogs and cats and other pets survive the horrendous wind of a tornado.  Duke was lucky!
